Thom served in the United States Marine Corps for 13 years, both enlisted and as an officer, attaining the rank of Captain. After leaving the Marine Corps, post Desert Storm, Thom embarked upon his career in the business world. Thom rose rapidly to senior executive positions in F500 companies and was twice recognized as “Best in the Industry”. While financially rewarding, Thom felt the yearning to build his own business…one that benefitted people too. After attending a seminar hosted by Fortune Builders founder Than Merrill, Thom knew he found his calling. Thom also obtained a BA degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the State University of New York (SUNY) @ Albany.
The next two years, Thom deeply immersed himself into the Fortune Builders real estate investor training and launched RE-Invest America, LLC. In his second year, Thom also completed the Renatus real estate investor training. Having completed the industry’s two leading programs, it was time to get to work. There was more to learn by actually doing it!
